We make every effort to satisfy our clients’ needs, and we understand that you may prefer to have your pet cared for by a particular veterinarian. A slight digestive irritation could cause vomiting. In circumstances when your pet is vomiting, your veterinarian may recommend that you withhold food for 8 to 12 hours. After this period, you may be advised to feed your dog a bland, easily digestible food. A specific prescription diet may be prescribed, or your veterinarian may recommend feeding a mixture of boiled chicken and boiled rice in small portions given frequently. If the dog is doing well on this diet, the portion size can be gradually increased, and the regular diet can be gradually reintroduced over a few days. However, if the vomiting persists for 24 hours, seek veterinary help or call our Urgent Care Hotline at 8459-7100.
